Beginning improvisers often begin with song because it has only two chord changes, D-7 and Eb-7 (using the Dorian form of minor). This is not the original record, but was made during the time period.


Here is another version with the 56th Army Jazz Band combo giving it a funky (in the good way) rhythm section groove. Even the Army plays this jazz classic!
